Terms of Use
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Welcome to Animal Loop! These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and wOzy Technologies LLC ("we," "us," "our"). They cover your use of the Animal Loop app and any related content or services (the "Game"). By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.
1. Who can play
Animal Loop is a game for players of all ages. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. They are also responsible for any purchases made on your device.
2. Your license to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download and play the Game on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You must also follow the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the Game or any part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Game, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows it;
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, hacks or other unauthorized software to change gameplay, times, leaderboards or achievements;
- use the Game for anything illegal or harmful.
3. Ownership
We or our licensors own the Game and everything in it, including the characters, worlds, tracks, artwork, music, sound effects and code. These Terms don't transfer any of those rights to you. Only the license in Section 2 is granted, and we keep all other rights.
4. In-app purchases
The Game is free to download. Optional in-app purchases let you unlock some racers early. Every racer that's for sale can also be earned by playing.
- All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and follow Apple's terms. We never see or store your payment details.
- Purchases are one-time unlocks of digital content. They have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- You can restore past purchases on any device signed in with the same Apple Account.
- You can turn off in-app purchases in your device's Settings under Screen Time.
5. Game Center and iCloud
The Game uses Apple Game Center for achievements, leaderboards and friends' ghost racers. It uses iCloud to sync your progress between your devices.
- When you're signed in to Game Center, your Game Center name, your Grand Prix times and the racer you used may be shown to other players on leaderboards and as ghost racers.
- Apple provides these services under its own terms and privacy policy. They're optional, and the Game works without them.
- We aren't responsible if your progress is lost because of iCloud or Game Center outages, a device change, an account change or deleted data.
6. Analytics and privacy
We collect anonymous gameplay analytics, such as which tracks you play, race results and in-app events, to understand how the Game is played and to improve it. We don't sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how, and it is part of these Terms.
7. Changes and updates
We may update, change or remove features, content, tracks or racers at any time, for example to add content, rebalance gameplay or fix bugs. Some features may only work on the latest version of the Game. We may also stop offering the Game at any time.
8. Ending these Terms
These Terms apply until you or we end them. You can end them at any time by deleting the Game. If you break these Terms, your license ends automatically, and we may remove your scores from leaderboards. When the Terms end, you must stop using the Game and delete it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Game will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that your progress will never be lost.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or progress, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Game in the 12 months before the claim, or US $10 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms takes away any rights you have under consumer protection law.
11. Apple-specific terms
You downloaded the Game from Apple's App Store, so you also agree to the following:
- These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Game and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Game.
- If the Game fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the Game.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims relating to the Game. That includes product liability claims, claims that the Game fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- If a third party claims that the Game infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and resolving that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting." You also confirm that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of United States / California, except where your local consumer protection law requires otherwise. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep playing after an update, you accept the new Terms.
