For Thanksgiving, Animal Loop gets something new: a racer you can only earn at one time of year. Meet Turkey, a fan-tailed show-off with a banded tail fan, a red snood and a lot of confidence.
Other racers join you by beating a world's Grand Prix. Turkey is different. It doesn't care how fast you are. It wants to see you show up.
It introduces itself
When November starts, Turkey turns up on the title screen. It peeks over the hills, hops up beside your racer, and sizes you up:
- Someone's strutting around the hills.
- TURKEY“I'm Turkey. I only come around in November.”
- TURKEY“I don't race with just anyone. Prove you're worth it this month, and I'll join your crew.”
- TURKEY“Think you can keep up?”
A title screen for every season
The update also dresses the title screen for the time of year: autumn leaves through November, then snow for winter, petals in spring and seeds drifting up in summer. Down south, the seasons flip, so the title screen follows the weather where you are.
Turkey is the first seasonal racer, but not the last. Happy Thanksgiving, and see you on the hills.
